I have worked in the African Bush for 18 years as an exploration Geologist and I could never get used to boots. I used trail running shoes in all terrains. However, you make boots look good. Love your enthusiasm for the farming life. It is the best way to live.

I must agree!! I love my Muck boots. I've had them for many years and they are truly the best. They are great in all types of weather and conditions. Yes, the tall ones can get a little toasty in the summer, but they are perfect in the cold and snow. Thank you for doing this video. I'm looking into the shorter cooler version you just purchased. I honestly didn't know Muck had those available.

I always try to wear wide pant legs or in winter a snowmobile suit that covers the muck boots from stuff falling inside. From the dollar store i buy velcro straps to keep the wide legs from rubbing the ground

We kids Needed Good Boots When we were living in New Jersey. snow slush and Ice.., One couldn't just wear Tennis 👟 Shoes. Had to be water proof and insulated. Now we live in FLORIDA sooo not much need for insulation on You're Feet. I do miss the snow though.

I wear Reebok waterproof 'tactical boots'. They're like basketball shoes but 8" high like work boots. Very lightweight and have a side zipper so you don't have to unlace them.

yes. rubber boots are going to be hot to wear. but the good thing about them is, they are water proof and wind proof and they keep out the cold.

I have 3 pairs of these. 2 sets of the tall ones, one set is steel toe. One set of the mid length. They are fantastic. They make an arctic set that has way more aggressive soles for the snow. Good stuff.

Try BF Goodrich Extra Tuff a size or two bigger than normal with one wool felt liner. The extra size around your foit allows air movement to keep you cool and the bottoms are designed to give great grip on slippery surfaces ( Wet n icy fishing boat decks in Alaska)

I had problems with the muck boots. The rubber cracked and leaked within the year. I switch to the Lacrosse boots after that. Big and ugly but dry and warm feet are more important to me. Third year on the same pair of Lacrosse.

Quiet the fashion statement you got there young lady. Next time I suggest you go find an Army/Navy surplus store and enquire about Muck Luck boots that the USAF issues to its cold weather airmen.
