The Magenta really suits you Tina! definitely have a look at Red Gorilla they do amazing wheelbarrows, brooms (even witches ones that are super!) also such a broad range of colours, you could get a matching blue set!!

I love a full stable bed! My boy has 3 bankings as he likes to rest on them or lay his head on them. I bed right up to the door and he doesn't drag much out to be honest. I leave a rectangle under his haynets as I find less goes in his bed that way but it generally is infront of the door if it goes anywhere so I just sieve any clean shavings out. Also loving the purple!

On wheel barrows. The two wheel ones are very difficult to empty out on the muck heap, but very easy to carry things with. You can't toss it side to side. For mucking out a sturdy one wheel is best. I just use my two wheel for moving bales and stuff.

I always bank my ponies beds! I have a pony and a companion shetland like you! I find that the banks really encourage my grey pony to not lie in her poo which is at the edge! I love the look of the finished product! I nearly have mine all the way to the front (their beds), there is less than a metre gap at the front, but I find that anyways my ponies drag it right to the front! Dealing with the hay on the shavings, literally the very first thing I will do when I muck out is get my shavings fork and just pick up the hay, obviously getting as little shavings on the fork as well and I just dump the hay back into the hay nets or hay mangers! Also, the new mic is very good!

Loved the bright outfit, like someone else commented you can always split them up when you wear them. As for wheel Barrow I enjoyed seeing how you repaired yours, I thought mine was on its last legs,well done for keeping life real. I have just brought a two wheeled Barrow that can attach to a quad as well, though I cant afford the quad yet.. it is heavy and difficult to move in thick mud but easier to balance then a single wheeled one. Great muck out...

Always loving your videos Tina 😍 As for stables and bedding. Have always put banks in a stable to help prevent the horse getting cast. The banks have to be quite large though for it to work I have found. Generally have always done very deep bedding also and like you mentioned they had a "guard" rail along the bottom to stop some of the kick over. It's unavoidable though!

We bank, then move the bank forward after we clean, then add new bank. That way the bank is always clean and it keeps my horses from getting yo close to the walls. We do half the stall but even though we use slow feeders they still get hay in the bedding. We just use a stall fork to pick it out and then mulch it, then it is spread over seed in bare spots in the spring.

That color looks amazing on you! I completely understand not feeling comfortable in a more girly color though so I just wear the more girly colors when I know I'm most likely to get horribly dirty, like when I'm tail washing, barn cleaning, etc. They still get used a fair amount but I dont worry about the color when no one else sees me 😊 That color makes you look like you have a glowing tan though so you shouldn't worry about it!

Good to see you wearing a colour that is not your usual colour and sound was fab and why if you are worried about him putting hay in his bed then just bring it to the edge of his hay bar then it is bigger but he won’t get as much hay in it

This was very satisfying to watch! I have two wheelbarrows - one that has 2 wheels, one that has 1, and the one with 2 wheels is really good, especially if you’re on a phone call (or vlogging!) so you can push it with just one hand, I definitely recommend it. However it is hard to push it up the muck heap, its a lot easier to push the 1-wheeled one up because the 2-wheeled one just gets stuck. So, in my opinion, the 2-wheeled ones are great for carrying hay or heavy things, the 1-wheeled ones are better for mucking out! I hope this helps and cant wait to see the new tools!

loved this vlog tina! I have a wheelbarrow with double wheels at the front and it is amazing, it can get quite heavy but if you wheel it to your muck heap and tip it and then use a fork to get the remainder out it is perfect and has lasted me years!

Sometimes its good to get out of your comfort zone!!! I thought you got a tractor that should sort your muck heap out and make it all neat let Robbie on that !!! really good sound ! brushing and all!! Crunching haylage and a snort very good!! Do not put your hay anywhere near your shavings as it all goes horrid and if it gets in the bed its even worse.

Hi Tina, with my horse Liza, I tried nearly every type of bedding including paper. But the drawback with paper is it is really heavy when wet, and not the easiest to put down. Straw was a no no because she used to eat it lol, and could devour the whole bed in a night. I had rubber mats, the ones which looked like jigsaw pieces, and they were extremely light, and easy to take up to give the stable floor a good scrubbing out. I moved on to shavings, tried all brands, and I found that Easibed is by far the best out of all of them. Very absorbant, and very little if any dust, and very economical to use. I always used to do banks in my stable, and quite high, just in case she rolled too close to the walls, and I used to leave a strip by the door without any shavings for water buckets, and for her hay. I don't like hay nets, but those things you have for putting the hay in are brilliant. I say hay, but I always used the Timothy low sugar hayledge, and she loved the low sugar hi fibre Dengie. it was hard to get good quality dust free hay, and I found soaking hay nets a pain especially in winter. Watching you mucking out brings it all back to me, but I do enjoy watching your vlogs, and also Emily's, and Lucy's. I'm still new to your channel, so I'm catching up with them all. I don't know how you find the time to do it all, but I'm glad that you do. 🐴🐎😊

Always do banks as I know my boy lays down so always do banks in that area the other corner is his toilet area and if I’m low on bedding but don’t want to put another in yet I’ll remove them from that side but always have them . And deep beds are incredible I love them so much 😍 we have our bed like this 😍 so easy to muck out and take the wet out once a week . You will end up using the same bedding and wheel barrow wise don’t get them with 2 wheels they are the barrow from HELL hate them

Scraps of haylage I just Chuck but bigger piles on the bed pick them up and shake, the easibed falls out pretty easily ☺️ I do a big deep banked bed (my section A rolls a lot and he just chucks himself down (he’s a very itchy pony !!)) I leave roughly 1m square non bedded by the door and that’s where his haylage goes as I always feed from the floor, I hate hay nets ! X x

@@LifeontheLeftRein re: the doorway I don’t have anything to contain the bedding like a strut on the floor etc and it does kinda avalanche out especially when I take him out of the stable but my stables are in a barn so no wet sticky floors. So I can’t advise on that part 😏 sorry. But I have definitely found a big deep bed is beneficial for my ponies, lowers the time mucking out and actually the cost !! worth the extra sweeping 🤷🏻‍♀️. But I know friends horses who make a huge mess of their bed no matter how little or much bedding is in there. I’m glad I gelded my ponies late, they all pee and poop in 1 spot like colts/stallions do even ☺️☺️ Loved this vlog, glad you’re feeling more chirpy, I’ve had a crappy few weeks so I know what it’s like 🥰 x x

My favourite colour. I think you look great in that colour. I wish we could get your horse clothing brands over here in OZ. You really suit the beanie too. I have a friend that has every style of wheelbarrow that are sold in Australia, they all have different uses, can't have enough according to her :D. It's very weird to me all your hay coming in plastic bags. Just curious, can the horses get the hay out of the middle of that ball? The bed looks lovely, I use white riversand in my stables/yards, lasts a very long time but I don't have the rubber so wee just goes straight through, we have a very dry climate though, all waste goes straight in the paddock though, don't have to get it hauled away.

Love the magenta! Also as for hay, my boy tends to pick at most of the hay that falls from his nets so there’s never that much in the bed. I soak my hay (for dust) and if I don’t have a full bed then I end up slipping on the wet mats!

I have OCD with beds, deep with walls. Then levelled with a broom and yes my bedding was done with a arch at the front. Hope Sir Banksy liked it. I’m sure Dinks did.

I have my bedding all the way up and I do have a lip to catch the bedding it does help but still some spills over but I just rake it up when done mucking also hay does can on the bedding but I just clesn hay corners out every so often..it works for me
