I think you should try show jumping on the horses I think Lucy would really love it and it would be really nice to do once in a while. You might also see that they some of them really enjoy it, and they can look forward to doing it! 💖

I used to groom Bonny The Shetland in Haworth, West Yorkshire prior to lockdown measures. Absolutely love Shetland Ponies even though I'm a dude in my late twenties unable to ride it myself lol😁 but most people in their training usually start of with grooming a pony. I love shetlands for ponies and friesan horses are my favourite too and as for cats I like cats that look like tigers lol and i love golden retrievers as my favourite dog breed.

Since bareback is bad for most of the horses' backs, you could buy a barebackpad, for example the one from barefoot (ride on pad) or brockamp. I have the signum omega innovation ridingpad for my mare because she has no fitting saddle (she is nearly retired but sometimes ridden by little children) and i love that pad😊
