I've watched several of these and it always cracks me up when Hunter talks then asks Chris...do you have anything to add to that? Chris - No, not really (then proceeds to talk for like 4-6 minutes). Too funny! Really enjoy these videos because I am considering building a rod, but in some videos there seems to be a lot more talking than demonstrating. What I really appreciate is that in most videos you rarely use equipment that is not included in the turnkey kit. Excited to see the new set-up.

All stupendous shows.I built rods 25 yrs ago for 25 yrs and will start again.Could you do a show on all the different types of guides and there uses.Their is so much new out their now than when I built rods.I will be making order to send your way in near future.Thanks Paul from B.C Canada.Tight Threads.

if you dont have those dryers but only the basic one that comes with the turnkey kit can you still do the finish for the cross wrap with braid? just need to go slower?

Guys, do the silk thread guide wraps have a lower strength than the prowrap colorfast or nylon threads?

lmao clearly have never sanded anything much less with it spinning. Next time cut a strip 1" wide by 6" long and make a U shape with it around the blank to sand. Much easier and uniform removal
