This is quite simply one of the best locations I have seen in your videos and Shola forests are probably the prettiest forests there are because of their colour palette.. And also since you said you would like to go to Corbett one day just wanted to tell you the recent Supreme Court verdict has banned the safari at the Parkho zone alone. This was a newly created zone which was recently opened and it was the only part of Corbett where you could do foot trekking and safari. The Supreme Court took objection was to exactly that because thats a threat to the animals in that the risk of encounters gets much more probable as you are also well aware. Safari will however continue on jeep at all the normal zones like Dhikala , Bijrani, Jhirna , Dhela and Durgadevi .

@@DotGreen Depends on what is your cup of tea. Dhikala has everything. including a dam, a river, a reservoir , grasslands, thick Sal Forest with trees as tall as 140 Ft , mountains , high banks , elephant herds that are mind boggling and Superstar tigers like Pedhwali , Paarwali, Romeo , Kankatti and so on.Bijrani is all hills and valleys and dense forests so spotting tigers here is a bit of a hit and miss but the FRH here is located in a truly spectacular location and people have seen tigers here while sipping tea in the balcony outside their room. . Jhirna is again Elephants and tigers but its the only place I have seen two of my all time favourite wildlife sightings. A Yellow Throated Marten and a Leopard Cat. Durge Devi I haven't been to but is famed for routine sightings of the Yellow throated Marten. Dhela is again Elephant territory.
