Or are you using a 5/8 belt on a stock 1/2 pulley?

I believe so I know the rear pulley is good for 5/8 don't know about the front??

Wouldnt I need a bigger size pulley to fit the 5/8? Isn't the stock pulley a 1/2?

I can't answer that. The factory pulleys i think they will work for 5/8 because they have deep belt grooves

have you hade any problems with the motor shutting of when not even in water but when going over bumps i snorkeled mine now i have to have the choke to run it

No I have not had either of those problems but I cannot reach supper hi revs because the snorkel is choking out the engine at high or pm's
