Mud puddles, Santa photo set and the big ball is on the loose

We’ve got lots of water around the farm and the puddles are getting bigger. Of course Wednesday’s pack took full advantage of the puddles. It’s like having a couple extra dams along the bush walk and paddock trails.
We stop at the site where our Santa photos are going to be held next week. The theme is Outback Christmas and our old farm truck is in place for Santa’s ride. We’ve got some work to do cleaning it up and decorating it for Monday but we’re excited to share it all with you next week.
In the dam, the ball got out of the water and shot off around the playground and ended up in the sandpit. The big pack hunt it down and it’s super fast. They know they just have to corner it for their ball popping player Bandit to get his snaggletooth on it! And that they did.

😢😭 So, so very thankful for the Evan's family and Doggy Daycare Farm Trips. They saved those beautiful dogs from a possibly horrible, wasteful and tragic end. Very, very moved and grateful. 🤗😍😘😌😷😇🤠

I love when my puppy plays in the Mud puddles I think all boys like dirt 😂 I don't mind I just bring in and give him a good bath and blow dry him off I don't think there is anything better than watching a dog happy 😊

The transformation in the lives of the shelter dogs is life affirming. I'm sure that many of the dogs that come to the Farm have amazing stories of their own, but we don't know them. But we've been privy to the shelter dogs over their time at the Farm, and seeing them live their best lives now as members of new homes and families as well as pack members on the Farm is joy beyond words. And absolutely love little man Wolf's sweet commentary.

Love Wednesday's pack and they love those puddles. Makes you wonder what's in the water as some go for the full on big dip! Freddo enjoys the big ball chase but looks surprised when all of a sudden the water gets deep and he heads for higher ground.

The slo-no action is always great to see wherever it is on the farm. The shot today of Uncle Luke riding the bike with the pack spread out beside, in front and generally all around him was brilliant. The Goldie’s and friends in the drain had me laughing, especially as they went in came out had a shake. Maybe a roll in the grass and in for a second or third dunking. Then all Labradors into the dam, with nearly every other member of the pack. Freddo got such a high step when the Swiss ball came out, he loves this game so much, so good to see him getting over his hesitation about water. Seeing the the packs rolling in the grass and sliding down the hill side was brilliant. Wolfric’s commentary was terrific as well. He loves all the packs doing whatever they wish too, it’s like his saying he approves of it all. Great video, must have great to have a break from the drenching everywhere received over the last week. Nice green grass hopefully later this summer. Thanks heaps Aunty Sam. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Now to old to own a dog responsibly, always happy to see Theo. My last dog was a rescue Airedale, Hannah, will always miss her. Airedales can seem reserved, two different dogs, the indoor Airedale and the outdoor Airedale. As ever, the best way to start my day with The Farm. Stayed at a friend's with two labs, must lock bathroom door or the one lab would join you in the shower. Love the rolling, secretly what many human would love to do, one of the best big grey ball chases! Can't wait to see the Christmas truck.

I love the slow mo entrance of the dogs from the bus. Even in slow mo, Luna still outpaces the others amazingly. She puts heart & soul into running! Loved the mud puddles and the goldens tabogganing down the grass slope and wriggling to dry off. Bless Bandit, you can see he's slowing down, but he was still game to jump in the dam and claim his prize by the sandpit! I love seeing the big ball being chased on the grass. I think the puddle, which is becoming a little pond, should be called puddle rollers pond. The dogs certainly enjoyed it, and then rolling around on the grass. They were just ecstatic doing that and you could almost hear them say 'Oh that feels so good'. They were determined to get that ball one way or the other. I think Wolfie was trying to give dad his opinion of what they should do with the truck. 🐾💕🐾💕

I was looking and looking for Yo-Yo and finally, lots of hugs from Uncle Luke. He is having the best doggy life ever. Did Conrad join the pack? The Swiss Ball lasted a bit longer but got hunted down. Great video! Thanks so much Sam. If it's not too late, I'd like to add my wishes that the truck stay exactly as it is (well, spider land could be cleaned up) and then decorated for Christmas. The contrast of the old farm truck with the shiny bright Christmas decorations would look so cool in the photos! A few more to come? That will feel like Christmas! It's like getting an extra desert after having your main desert. (Can you tell that I've started a sugar-free diet? I never craved sweets until I gave them up!)
