Muddy Bull Blind Setup on the Farm today!

Muddy Bull Blind - I purchased a Muddy Blind after carefully considering all the features of the various blinds available. While Muddy has a premium cost, I liked the built-to-last materials, the strong stand, the tempered glass windows, the height/space inside and overall comfort of the blind. I considered Redneck Hunting Blinds, Shadow Hunter Blinds, various spin-off & knock-off versions of blinds and ultimately decided to pay the price and get the blind that would best allow me to hunt alongside my growing children during any type of weather.
In this video, I show you a one-man setup which I DO NOT RECOMMEND/ENDORSE. This is merely chronicling the process. Get help before you set-up this blind!

I was surprised at how well the tractor worked at lifting the entire blind 10ft in the air at the base!

Our Rhino blind was attached to the tower on the ground and we stood it up with the tractor.

I've seen that method - I was just a little worried about it tipping on over to the other side. This is a soft-sided Rhino Blind or a more permanent blind?

Instead of the platform could it be used on the ground

I don't think it would be great directly on the ground. On a short platform it might work well.

i just bought one and have a 6x 12 trailer would it fit inside standing up

Me too! I’ve never hunted out of a box blind. I primarily use a climber. This will be for hunting on bad weather days with my kids.

Can you expand on your comment? The only color Muddy Blinds come in is that dull tan/gray color. It blends in nicely as the leaves change color, then fall off.

How has it held up?

I have to say it has been incredible for our first year in it. I’ve only used climbers/lockons/ladder stands prior so positioning was new for me. The inside height is incredible. My friend is 6’3” and a strong build - both of us sat inside and we’re very comfortable with all of our gear in there as well.

JohnSangl Appreciate the reply. I’ve been considering investing in a tower blind. Sick and tired of being cold and getting down early. I was amazed how well pop up blinds help in cold weather. I imagine a insulated tower blind would be even better!

How did you secure stand to platform? Did it come with stand?

Stand is from Muddy but you can buy the blind with or without a 5ft or 10ft stand. The blind attaches to the stand with 4 large bolts(1 at each corner).

why didn't you assemble the tower to the blind laid out on the ground and just tip it up????

I’ve seen a lot of videos where it just tips on over, the legs bend and requiring someone behind it holding straps to keep it from going on over. I think my method was perfect for a single person assembly.

Good video - I bet u wish U had a second set of hands. Did you take feet into the ground? Are you concerned about wind blowing it over?

The feet are staked and there is a hurricane tie directly below the stand. It’s held up to 50-60mph winds so far.

I’ll let u know after the season! It seems very well built. I’m more of a climber stand guy but this will be for the boys to cut their teeth hunting and not freeze to death and hate life.

I actually like the color. The deer don’t seem to care. I believe it could be pink or orange and still work.
