Another excellent kayak video. From where you said in video you repelled in, there are no trails/roads near by. Did you have to hike along way in & what was the trailhead? Also, did you consider doing the section at Box Canyon off Stevens Canyon Road or is that impassible?

Thanks! There's a trailhead off of forest road 5290 near where the MF enters the flood plain there. We hiked in a few miles. From what I know the box canyon down from Stevens Canyon Rd is full of wood, the entrance to this canyon had quite a few problematic pieces of wood also

Super cool. Got on the clear fork of cowlitz earlier this year. Any advice for muddy fork? Headed to it next spring

Finding a suitable put-in is half the adventure. I'm sure wood shifts around in there each season too, there is a big log jam right at the entrance to the canyon
