can you tell me how to get that tone? strings, pedal, settings? is that a Silvertone amp? are you playing through that or the Fender? I play an acoustic version of L. D Call but I want to play electric but I can't seem to nail the tone yet.

Hi Billy! In this clip, I'm using the bridge pickup on my mustang (for bitey-ness), a strymon deco for crunch, going into my mojotone tweed pro clone. Just about any low gain overdrive pedal will get you the requisite Muddy Waters sting. I prefer tube amps, but a decent solid state amp would work fine as well :-D
