How to be a tasteful guitarist secret hack #5: Invite Eric for a coffee. When he leaves, look for his fingerprints. Go home and make a 3D model of his right hand and left hand. Replace your hands with them. Done. Don't forget to check my other secret hacks. // Eric, do you still do guitar lessons? :)

The Kinks! Nice addition with a nod to Dave Davies "torn speaker" sound.

Sometimes you just need a slight truss rod tweak to get that intonation back in check

Not terrible, pretty close, but not exact. A little bit of fidgeting with the knobs and you'll have both sounding exactly the same! Mostly hearing a difference in volume and a slight drop in treble. How was the compression in the room from the cranked amp? That would be, what I assume, is the big difference.
@SuperRbert20 сағат бұрын
Hard to hear the room compression from here
@RobertNolan17 сағат бұрын
@@SuperRbert yeah that's kinda something he can only answer for us.

In absolute terms, I agree with you. But anyway, in this category, the Lightspeed is still one of the best transparent OD. 😉
@RobertNolan2 сағат бұрын
@CousinOlivier he asked is there a difference, and there is, but if it can be adjusted then it doesn't matter and that's a very important thing. It's a great pedal.

Nice one! I’m working on an OD pedal rn btw.

I used to have a Carr Artemus. Beautiful looking and even better sounding amp. Carr is in a league of his own. No one builds with the quality and attention to detail that he does, and that's on top of how incredible his amps sound!

Hey Erick your lesson have been a big help, was wondering if you’d ever considered doing a explanation on the licks heard on Lou Reeds song “Coney Island Baby” the songs a simple chord progression but the lead is what brings it to life, and I can seem to find a video explaining the lead playing or even a cover. I’d really appreciate it 🤘🏽

I really like your approach with rhythm guitar playing. I've always considered a good rhythm guitar player can either make or break a bands overall sound appeal. Thank you for this.

Been watching your videos for a while now and love your playing and lessons. Found a few Carr amps at my local guitar shop here in Charlotte and remembered that you played one, so I gave it a shot. I had your same reaction at 8:57 with a Carr Telstar. Just an incredible amplifier. I

Malcolm Youngs guitar work is overlooked by most people. But real ones know he was the pulse of the band. Listening to his isolated tracks was very eye opening for me. The guy used like 14 gauge strings, so basically mooring cables. His tone was incredible

Oh man, the perfect Little Wing solo with all the right bends. Thanks for that one. Every time I learn Hendrix's exact playing it proves yet again: Hendrix was off all the charts. Edit: I went and listened to the isolated track solo and see you added a few release bends but, damn, they actually make it sound better at least when played by us mere mortals.
