Jeff I really enjoyed the drone footage as well as loading of the hogs. As any good Sunday night Quarter back, I can see several improvements to the sliding gate that would let you close and open it from either side of the trailer. A simple rope on both sides or if you wanted to get really elaborate some pulleys and ropes. Not to mention a stick with a hook on it. You looked like you were huffing and puffing trying to chase hogs to the gate and then run to the gate to close it. Good to see a good hog trapping video for a change. I've been hoping to see one. Thanks, as always for bringing us along.

There needs to be new invented tool or way you can enclose them more to limit their space because they know to stay away from the direct point where u want them to go. Maybe a remotely animal or some sort to run them inside of the trailer or the opposite and have something to attract them into the trailer

@@Canuck777 I've not t rapped such large animals but I have been trapping for years--removal of certain animals from human surroundings in the city. One must think ahead to outwit wildlife! Creatures can be wily. Take Raccoons--they are tough, strong and creative! I've had to alter trap designs, bolster/strengthen some traps, etc., etc. and learn what baits work best. Then, there is the problem of learning THE WHERE--where best to locate traps. Each species of animals requires thought. I even have created traps where there were none which matched the habits of the species which I needed to trap. Like you, I work with live traps--for relocating appropriately, etc. Three cheers for your efforts! Texas is overrun with Hogs! I see trapping as the best means of quickly controlling "families" of Hogs. Hunting with firearms is exciting but slow in the scheme of things. Be safe!

I don’t know exactly how, but please make drastic changes to your techniques. The more you read out those prices, the more sense it'd make to keep those 30-80 pounders till they topped 150 pound (Live-weight) Your processor would know how many you've got coming along, & he'd be a lot happier than when you turn up with a bunch of rubbish littlun's & a few old Boars which are only good for dog food or fertiliser. I dunno what pig feed costs today, but you should average at least a pound of quality Pork for every 3.5 lbs of feed they eat. Less if they're given "live" woodland to forage in. You've got the climate most of the year round to keep 'em outside in Paddocks as long as they've got shade or wallows. Ideal 2nd income for smaller Farmers with rough Woodland needing clearing. They train to hot-fences in a matter of days**. & after de-worming, you omnly need keep the Feeders topped up & check their water.from what I've seen, you can divide'em up according to their weights ** You must be the only U-Tube Hog-Catcher who doesn't use a hot-stick to chase''em around?
