For the blue bottle. Cut off saving as much as possible. Find a very nice piece of wood bore a hole the size is the top of the bottle. Insert bottle in nice wood Place candle in the bottom which will be the top. Nice candle holder.

Nice finds love the old bottles. The little thick bottle at the end is definitely thicker then usual making it quite older. In my opinion I think what you found is a modern wine bottle cork. I thought I saw markings of a wine bottle opener on one of the ends. Could be wrong. Take care and stay safe. Please let me know what you find out.
