@1926 that big glass lid lookes like Carnival Glass from where I'm sitting...maybe not. I'm thinkinng that you could go back to this place with a very definite goal in mind and a limited searching field which would allow you to slow down and take your time to really scope out a smaller area...Just a thought.

A thought. Could you use a whole teapot as an Alice in Wonderland stand for a fantasy craft? Broken eggs might do if levelled off at the back and used in a shadow box craft.

Very happy to be able to follow along with you on a brand new tip/dump treasure/little gem hunts. I agree, it must be very fun, exiting and interesting exploring a "new" dump, even if many of the finds are similar to the ones you find on your "old" dumps. There's still some new/ish, different models to be found. You had some great finds!! ☺ //Solani

Hey watched loads of your videos past few months i love them watched hours of them!! I metal detect in my spare time and am getting the jist of where to look for old things now with a little luck and experience over the past year picked up a few nice finds , eyes only edge of fields and parks etc. I know the surface indicators of a dump site and plan to search my local area high and low this year (im from fenland east of england) are there any tips for locating? Are you more likely to find the sites in woodlands etc or is there anywhere online that people record them? Thanks in advance look forward to more videos ❤

They started screw tops in the 1880s and 1890s so some screw tops are older than cork tops. Screw tops were more expensive the first 20 years that's why it's did not get wide spred.
@chrissettles412711 ай бұрын
You are wrong about the bottle value and the pots are more .the bottles you get are 20 pounds each unembossed and 50 pounds each embossed if common the rare embossed bottles are 100 pounds or more. The jam pots are 50 to 100 pounds each small medium and large. The jam pots that have written designs are 100 pounds to 200 pounds. There are a dozen shows selling them for those prices.
