Your little guy in apron looks just like the blacksmith I goggled... here is what I googled.. Vintage J Hill & Co Lead Figure, Blacksmith and Anvil, 1950s England 2.25" Tall ... It might be this one. Great finds. I enjoy your videos and the adventures you share. Happy mud larking.

That headless lead fellow is shoeing a horse. So, he's a ferrier. Congratulations on the intaglio! So many great finds! Great episode, as always! I did have an idea for Halloween. You could decorate your dollhouse for Halloween and have them set up doing a seance with a cod marble as a crystal ball, etc. I think that would be cute! Just an idea. Good luck!

To keep your clay from sticking to the seal, you can dust it with powder or rub it with oil either will stop the sticking. I would use powder myself ,only because you put heat on them. Beautiful work Kate.

We have been mud larking our locations (one of which you visited recently) for 30 years, and there are numerous patches of quicksand, deep mud and sticky clay pits on all levels of the beach and our advice is never to wear lace up boots in areas like this. It is much easier to escape if stuck or sinking if you can simply slide out of your boot without struggling. Stay safe.

Those silver pendants are very good Kate, professional or not! They will be eye catching on the end of a simple chain.
