If you have mirror paint, that bottle bottom would make a good miniature mirror, curved side out.

Mystery find could be a door knob, squashed, or if too small, a drawer knob or pull on a string, anything from a kitchen but I've seen door knobs like that, hard to tell the size, even though you compare the size in the palm of your hands. Love the work you do, so cute. Love your relationship too. What a wonderful happy time.

Could the white pulley thing have been for a clothes line for drying clothes? Like the ones you put the clothes on and then roll them out like between apartments high up?

Great special finds. Found some info for the James Abraham Cox sherd. There is a listing for him at the University of Leicester directory at 44 Old Compton St. If it’s the same man, it has him as a licensed victuallers

Why not put your dominoes into resin and that would stop any decomposition. Xx

I live in Canada so finding a bunch of glass bottle stops isn't something we can usually do but I did inherit a bunch and found a few more at flea markets. (boot or jumble sales) I didn't know what to do with them but, because I make and collect jewellery, I figured out a repurposed use. I picked up 2 round glass hot plates one slightly smaller than the other. I used aquarium silicon adhesive to attach various glass stoppers onto them, pointy end up. I spaced them so the tallest ones were evenly dispersed across the larger hot plate. I then used the remaining sundry sized ones ones to cover the smaller hot plate and fill in the bare spaces of the larger one. The end result are a couple of glass rounds covered in glass "spikes" that can be stacked, small on large. I use the spikes to hold all of the rings I have that need repair as well as the various bands in their various states of repair or making. It allows me to keep organized as well as negating the need to put pieces away every time I stop to do other things. A real time saver that lets me see at a glance what pieces I have on hand, what silver or gold bits I need to buy as well as what shape/sized stones I may need to keep an eye out for. I suspect the same idea could be used on a wall to hang bracelets and necklaces.

Your tile looks like it might be out of either a small kiln, a live steam model railway engine, or, what's left of an electrical fuse after the steel part has rusted away. The thing that makes me think "kiln" is that it's curved.

You could restore that domino very easily. I wonder if that's a regular marble not a red cod, marble
