All good advice keep the engine as low as possible too, a low transom works best when selecting a boat. Ine can modify the transom to let the engine sit lower Thai Longtails have low transoms to facilitate performance Great video!

Awesome video! Ive been running a swamp runner kit for 6 years and 5 of those was on a small kit with 212cc predator engine. This video would have been very helpful starting out but from trial and error over the first year I owned my swamp runner I figured everything out except for the tweaking of the scag! Never crossed my mind to bend it a little. I upgraded to a medium kit with gx390 honda engune in 2017 and I honestly leaped onto another animals back. My prop wont stay in the water no matter what i do but i now know how to fix that! Thanks! If i can ever be of any assistance to promoting swamp runner let me know please! I absolutley love my kit and wouldnt trade it for 1000 conventional outboards!

Big question ,,say I am fishing around trees for bream,,say up in the cypress,,it looks like it would b a no brainer to turn the motor around where the prop is in the boat,,is that easily done from inside the boat?
