I’ve got the 30x9 ITP CRYPTIDS on my 2020 rubi and really like them. Smooth on trail and push through mud. I’d bet they are great paddle tires as well! You should try some out

Mud Puppy literally will make no difference besides ur tires going flat quicker. It’ll make about as much difference in weight as throwing an empty beer can off Been there done that People also used to try to use it in float pods on boats.

Long time ago but I'm pretty sure I had 9-in rims in the rear on 27 by 13.5 tires. Up front. I had 10-in wheels on 27 x 12.5. then tons of tire pressure of course

12 in rim seems be the cutoff for most tires in that range
