Mufasa and Taka actually get along very well, despite the fact that Mufasa was an orphaned lion from another pride! Unfortunately, the venom quickly corrupted Taka's heart and he would later rename himself "Scar", before he eventually ends Mufasa's life with his own paws to become "the rightful king" as his mother wants him to be! 🥺

Actually in the original lion king scar actually gets his scar from a buffalo where he gets his venom is only in lion guard since the original lion king was never intended to have any powers

In the live action canon, which I consider a separate AU from the animated one, apparently Mufasa himself gave Taka the scar. I actually kind of like that idea.

It's not venom? It's became he was jealous of mufasas royalty. Scars do not have venom.

Honestly I wished the upcoming movie was 2D, we all miss the classic 2D Disney animation films, but hey, at least we finally get some official backstory for these two, and it doesn't seem quite as expressonless as the Live Action/CGI remake we got in 2019. Also film debate aside though the way you edited everything together was amazing including the scenes with the white lions! ^^

Me too.. it would’ve been so badass if they had done 2D animation like the original Lion King.. however this movie definitely looks promising and looks way better than the live action lion king movie so I guess we’ll see 👀 Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! ^_^

Me too but I just don’t understand why people use the lion king as the trailer shobecause it’s obviously Kovu and sim and plus taka and mufasa died. Not to be a hater

​@@debracoulter1688 It's because Simba and Kovu look the most like Mufasa and Taka I think? They're similar enough plus people in the animash/editor community typically edit clips rather thanb animate their own models/designs etc, though it would be cool if an animator actually animated a young Taka and Mufasa :) Also I believe the Mufasa movie for the. Lion Ling is a prequel (basically meaning it happened before The Lion King and before The Lion King 2 ^^)
