ProgeCAD 2021 2D Modeling Tutorial For Beginner [COMPLETE]

I have never used any software for drawing , I do not find Progecad 2021 very intuitive for beginners.I have been trying to draw basic shapes with very little success for a few hours. The UI just does not flow for someone with zero experience. If you have a basic knowledge I am sure it would be fine.The tutorial is ok but I am sure if we also had some vocalisation during the steps it would help a beginner greatly . Thanks for posting this. I feel I may be looking for another CAD program - unfortunately there are very few with perpetual license and have the ability to also convert to STEP / IGES file types when 3d modelling. Again thanks for putting up a tutorial. I have now tried ONE CNC and inside of 2 minutes I have already drawn some basic shapes with much less difficulty than ProgeCAD , time will tell which program I will purchase.

I have used several different programs and CAD is NOT easy. I have used Flexi(SIgnPro), PhotoShop, AI, Corel, and some others. Many are a bit difficult until you get it figured out the program set-up (usually if you understand the history of the program, you get a much better understanding of the program). That being said, CAD dates back to time before the mouse, where you had to input everything into the command prompt. So it is still command heavy.

this software appears to be trying to emulate AutoCAD in the interface which suffers from years of introducing many ways to do the same things, which can be a strength when adapted / customized by the user, but this takes time. I got increasingly turned off to Acad even while being forced to use it as it is the industry standard, since I've dabbled in plenty of other software packages and can easily imagine how things can be done more simply - it seems like they eventually pick up on these trends but only after years; since they hold huge market share. Bug again, because of this, there are many many resources - scripts, blocks, add-ons, etc for AutoCAD; perhaps ProgeCAD as well?

I DOWNLOADED THE TRIAL VERSION BUT IT DOESN'T ALLOW ME TO USE THE FOOT AND INCH SYMBOLS
