I've grown up with Muffins and found it when The Fun Never Ends and the rest of it [besides the part where Twilight ends her fate and Fluttershy too meets her fate with the muffin crew¿] as those two stories had yet to be made and uploaded by the creator, my favorite stories from Cupcakes:Muffins is Applebloom Gets Her Cutiemark and The Fun Never Ends, and I've heard things with the creator and it breaks my heart how unhinged she seemed to be and for her to not care about Muffins either also hurts as we MLP Creepypasta fans did back then and still do!! anyway I've loved this story to pieces and the art is chefs kiss too

Yeah. I love dark stories with endings where the protagonists don’t win (when they’re executed well, that is) but this just feels like too much. If there’s gonna be a group of villains in a story, they have to actually fail in their endeavors sometimes in order for their victories to feel more impactful. A story where the villains always win no matter what doesn’t just become bland overtime, but it also gets wholly unrealistic in some instances as well. But hey, that’s just me.

This story is disturbing and heartbreaking.. I love it! in the beginning, it’ll make you have some hope when they were “supposed” to be free. But it turned out as a lie, they didn’t even have a choice but hurt each other for *nothing.* the bakers are very clever, manipulative, twisted and fucked up minded (for a reason actually ) and deadly creative. imagine hurting someone you never wanted or thought of hurting? So heartbreaking, so regretful.. but you do not have a choice because those bakers are on your tail. This is my bedtime story now by the way ! I love the writer who has written the story, huge respect.

I like the idea of Sweetie joining but It’s not extremely likely after the fun never ends. I think it would work in an alternate but similar situation where Apple Bloom had some of her empathy and either Sweetie Belle’s number coming up or her catching the bakers and Apple Bloom encouraging her to join for some reason or another. Maybe wanting company from someone her age idk. I could see the bakers liking the convenience of a unicorn, though honestly the pie’s (other than Pinkie) would probably be hesitant. Sorry for rambling I’ve been thinking this up because of getting back into muffins stuff and Sweetie Belle being my favorite character

I can tell the inspiration for this one is a lesser known movie called Vial/Vile. In it a bunch of people are kidnapped and have a contraption that injects into their head if they fill the vial all the way up without dying they get to walk free. The problem is a lot of them fill it up and die at the same time from the amount of pain instead of doing it gradually. It's a very hopeless movie but it has some possibility of escaping much like any other SAW movie. It's too bad that these guys... every game they do is rigged. That's the one thing about Muffins I've never really cared for. I feel like if people got to live more it would be a little bit more high stakes. But I know that this series ends or at least the last chapters of it available are pure chaos and everyone dying. So I turned my brain off from expecting anybody to live to tell the tale. It just feels like it amped up so badly and now it's complete annihilation of everyone. I'm still excited to see how it ends I just figure, expect everyone to be dead.

I'm happy I found a new audio chapter for Muffins I remember I binged the series multiple times when I was in 8-9th grade. All though, I think this chapter is more fuckrd up than the others. Mostly about the having elementary school children torture themselves and the weird comment Minky made about how they were jealous of a child's 'beauty' Also rest in peace Zecora, my favorite character. This is quite interesting. I remember greatly anticipating a narration for this story way back when, when I was still in middle school lol, but after Muffins basically stopped and the narration never came (aside from that one text-to-speech version that was uploaded a couple years ago), I kinda stopped holding my breath regarding the matter. I'm not as into Muffins as I once was, but even still, it's kinda satisfying to finally get a proper narration for this one. My younger self would be happy. So, thanks. :)

😊 this was an excellent reading 📖 of the final crusade how this particular chapter was read was properly explained better in the story then, when the original creator read it to us, the audio was just brilliant and every single significant detail I played out in my head as I was listening to it. It got to point where I closed my eyes and I could sort a picture everything that was happening without having to look at the picture also went along beautifully with the story.👏 this was also the saddest moment in the entire muffin franchise to me because scooterloo and sweetie Bell how to fight to survive only for them to end up failing in the end with a bittersweet ending. and how apple Bloom doesn’t react at all, knowing when her friends are in troubling situation. for these two.

Good job on the art and the video! but unfortunately I could only skim it. The ending was just infuriating. I kind of felt like a punch to the face. I’ve changed so much as a person since I enjoyed this series. My own writing has plenty of gratuitous violence in it but the violence isn’t the point. But everybody likes different types of fiction and I’m not shaming anyone who might like this sort of thing. Everybody can do their own thing as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone. I felt the need to say something on this video because this series had an important part in my formative years, it may have been the thing that made me pursue my life‘s passion, story making and for that I will always be thankful. Heres my take if Sweetie and scoots survived, Tw subtle hints at self deletion and trauma If sweetie belle and scoots survived, I could see scoots trying to distance herself from sweetie belle even though she doesn't want to, you'd be surprised what guilt and isolation can do to you, Trauma even more so. I'd say Sweetie belle while experiencing her own guilt believes they need eachother, she lost rarity and she knows that if she doesn't act she'll lose scoots too despite everything they both did to survive, Sweetie understands the shit scoots is feeling because thats how she feels. Sweetie belle doesn't let scoots out her sight in fear of being alone herself, not by what the bakers did to her and may be looking for her but what sweetie could do to herself and promised Rarity although already dead, that she'd live and scoots NEEDS her. But despite that it doesn't keep the dark thoughts away, what if they win someday? So other then Sweetie saving Scoots in the end, Scoots saves her and realises that she can't just push sweetie away either, encouraging a charecter arc with maybe her version of Dash reiterating to Scoots that she needs to live. Obviously after that ordeal progress is slow by this time Scoots and sweetie have left ponyville far far away but the bakers finding them still lingers on them both. Scoots looks at Sweeties broken horn and how hard Sweetie has tried to support them both, but not many jobs are willing to take on a damaged unicorn. Scoots had wanted to make Rainbow proud by becoming a wonderbolt just like her. So Scoots decides go down the path as a nurse, she could figure out how to heal sweetie belles horn herself and if a situation like this was to ever arise again, she'll know what to do. (Ponies do point out that scoots don't seem like the nursing type, further pointing out that the sacrifices Scoots is willing to make for Sweetie just as Sweetie did for her, maybe sweetie becomes a officer to learn to fight being inspired by scoots or smth) Thats what I've thought of so far for a lil Au or what if situation, I do love this series and considering outcomes for the charecters, if you ever have what ifs of your own we would love to hear them, I thought this off the top of my head so I do apoligise if its abit stupid but Thank you for giving us this version of Muffins.

@@xjinxed_0 Its possible with the power of the author’s bias toward her precious self inserts of course! Anyway it sure is a good thing the actual ending to the story has Uncle Grandpa show up and run over the bakers with a golf cart. 10/10 ending almost makes the rest of the story tolerable.

How do you shade on your art? I'm just curious....

So I often use a dark blue color for my shading, mutiliply it by 2, blur one of them and lower the opacity. I can change the color by overlaying the shading. I did a dark red for this art piece, but it's the same way I do it with blue. I never use solid black because I think it makes the art look like it's been dipped in tar unless the charater is extreamly dark.
