For those who are uncertain what to believe, and those that say ,, I don’t believe what he is saying and accusing him of deceiving, also some of you that don’t know what to make of these claims so you are wishing to see a debate, my suggestion is check the facts yourself!, very simple !, buy the books he is referring to and conduct your own investigation!!, That is if you are so hell bent to come to the truth then do that, but if you wish to stick to worming yourself into your sheikh’s bosom then go ahead and stay there.

I do agree with the warning that Mufti gave for people like this. Perhaps a bit less energie on the white vs brown topic or highlighting white "this and that". I know mufti is not racist but it could influence other people to be more racist or white people to feel offended. @Mufti, please know that with your influence and following there should be allot of responsibility in the way you say things (not claiming that you are not responsible). In the end, the video was amazing as always. Mashallah!

I have seen some of the brother Abdullah Al Andalusi speak,he seemed to be a decent brother! I like listening to the mufti also and his different perspectives.I agree with some views and not others like anybody...I am not convinced about the mufti argument on bukhari,but I'll keep it in mind...It would be nice to hear a actual debate in the issue... Hopefully it will be more organized than the debate the mufti had with that shaykh in the resident..That guy was pretty annoying with his interruptions!

I am a white convert in the U.S. why are you insulting me? I study 5 hours a day everyday and studied 3 years before converting. So because I am white I cannot be Muslim? I cannot be learned in Islam because I am white? I teach many people from all over the world how to debate and defend Islam. I am also studying Arabic. This is NOT a good attitude being a white Muslim especially where I come from you have to have vast knowledge because I have to defend this Deen constantly. I am insulted I actually looked up to you till this. You are racist and no better than the white people that attack Islam. I am glad I did not see this before converting or I would have believed the statement about how Islam is ONLY FOR ARABS.

Re-watch the video habibi, he specifically gives examples of great converts to Islam who are white folks. He also literally said "this isn't against converts" (4:56) and goes on to praise white converts in particular. It's perhaps most fair to say he's referring to the "white man's burden" and imperialist mindset that Abdullah al Andalusi seems to have; the Islamic version. Also, he is of Pakistani origin, not Arab :) Much love and respect

Hamza Amir , salam alaikom , may Allah increase you in beneficial things, first of all I would say to you that I’m thankful to Allah SWT you are not my teacher, it is not because you’re a convert or because you are white, I am too, so this has nothing to do with that., it is simply because you are prone to jumping to conclusions without having gone thru things, it shows that you seriously lack patience either only wile watching youtube videos or you are like that in everything else., if I was harsh then please forgive me., I don’t usually respond to comments like this, and there are couple of things that I don’t agree with the Mufti, but your emotional statement that somehow eluded to knowledge made me do it, either very insincere or very wicked of you or very ignorant, I don’t know, but you do. He said if you are a convert to Islam, be at least a scholar before calling for a khilafa. Mufti mentions multiple times that no race is better than another that whatever lineage or blood connection you have doesn't make you better than someone else who doesn't have a good lineage. So maybe you should listen to what he says

Yusuf Serag El-Din doesn't matter that he praises other converts. That's like saying "I'm not racist, some of my friends are black/brown/white etc"... It still doesn't detract from the fact that mufti abu layth brought a mans race rather than deal with his points.

I think sadly he just worded it badly. I agree it does sound a bit like a racist rant at the start, but he does recover. If he had started by talking about all the sensible great white converts and then gone on to talk about the exceptions it wouldn't have sounded so bad.

As a white convert I am insulted if I would have seen this before converting I would have believed the statement the Islam is ONLY FOR ARABS! This is racist. I put in 5 hours or more a day in my studies and I did that for 3 years before converting. I help many people from the Middle East defend against attacks. I guess because I am white I cannot have any knowledge right?
