Asking for money may mean his asking for medical help for his family… his mother child wife father etc. asking for money could be so he can get shelter. Tuition fees. Pay off debt. Could be lots of things. There’s nothing wrong in that. May Allah grant that brother big wealth and also Jannah. Ameen

Actually the man tried to explain that he had asked for Jannah. He says in Housa (didn't seem to know Arabic) 'Na gama' (I've finished) to say that I did pray for Jannah but now I'm praying for fuloos lol. He even starts to suggest that he is given Jannah (ay ambaani...) He doesn't complete that sentence perhaps reflecting on the implication. In the end he sums up by saying, Jannah, fuloos, inshaa Allah.
