this ramadan is different, it‘s second day and no one posted sahur, iftar pics etc. on facebook... don’t know what to think, if it’s a positive sign or negative, hope they only stopped showing off and everything is fine

Inshallah it is positive. Why should someone make pictures of their iftar food? In my eyes its really not good. There are a lot of other people who have a very poor iftar..barely having any food. Count your blessings and dont share it on social media.

Ramadan Kareem. I think it’s a good thing people aren’t posting pictures of Iftar and suhoor this year. After this past year and even now so many families are still being affected by the pandemic. Maybe they are struggling to make ends meet, their Iftar is not as glamorous as in previous years, or maybe they have one less family member to eat with them this year. I think a lot of people are more conscious this year that when they post pictures of all their families gathered together that we are still in a pandemic and it’s still not safe to hold large gatherings, when you post pictures of food - so many people are having to rely on assistance to even have food. I agree, hopefully people have learned to more humble moving forward.

Assalamualaykum sheikh....is it mandatory to recite Quran with tajweed. Will it be sinfull if someone does not. ALSO there are different pronounciation of Arabic language like ث is 'Saā' in India Pak Bangladesh and Arabs read it as 'tha' they say that we are wrong.... Assalamoalaikum Mufti I want to ask u a question My friend has posted a status n there she had written " Those people who does not had a strong iman should convert their religion because if ur iman is weak , this will make our islam very weak " And personally I am not satisfied with her opinion Cuz I feel like a person may have a very less iman but still he/ she has iman , so that means their is a hope of guidance But advising someone to convert religion (leave islam) that means we r encouraging someone commit shirk ( maybe not intentionally) so, that's worse than having low iman So I think that instead of encouraging them to come back to the right path , we r making them more away from Allah n that's wrong So , what should I reply to her N what is ur opinion abt this Plss reply
