I was married. We divorced but I don't want to marry any more because it's so hard to find a suitable partner. Please pray for me, I been waiting for the right spouse for so many years. Feeling depressed. I am over 30 now. No proposals, my time to have children is going away soon. I am a victim of sexual abuse by a religious man and domestic violence. According to psychology, I will only attract horrible people (as I have experienced in the past) but the will of Allah overrides all. I live in society where is marriage everything for women. Even I don't want to get marry with person who I don't like everyone pressure on me I'm do tired and devastated I even tried to meet so men but they are not serious they don't marry me. @@laibanasir3498 yea that's also true. young girls in muslim societies even if they want to get married, they can't tell their parents about it due to shyness. one of my uncles has 4 daughters of marriageable age (27-36) n none of them are even close to getting married cuz of their parents wanting a perfect man for the eldest one(36) first. and they are quite islamic family, just not when it comes to marrying their daughters off, then they see material assets instead of spirituality. its so sad that young people are lured into zina because of this.
