This is what I think, the most important thing to do is to have discipline first, in everything we do in our lives. Be it social media or school or work . We must have goals for the day or week or month You can write them down on a note book or on a paper where you can see it like for example read Qur'an for 30 mins then later on do adhkar for 20 mins, watch islamic lectures, call my relatives, spend 30 mins on social media or you can either write it at the end of the day what you did how much you spent on each thing you did Like that we can train ourselves and become a habit Then at the end of the day/week we can check our achievements and know our progress and where we lack and need improvements May Allah SWT guide us all and grant us understanding

Not only is it their right but also as a woman, it's self respect... what's the point of having to go through trouble later on, when you could have avoided the trouble. Avoided by being real at the beginning. Later after you come to an agreement then you can put makeup on as much as you want (Just my opinion)
