aluminum brightener from Napa and a brush cleans up the intake manifold like new and works well.

@@LHTPerformance I took my manifold off sprayed some Brighter on it and scrubbed it with a wire bush lightly , and power washed it off i did not let it sit too long about 30-45 seconds and came out like new ! , if u cant find any at Napa most truck stops carry it I believe.

George is talking about the nuts that hold the coil down on an r18 at 08:16 He reused them on his k20 covers. 90207-RAA-A00 is the Japan version 6mm hex nut $1.16 ea 90207-RAA-A10 is the US/CAN version 6mm hex nut $1.35 ea

Did you happen to check the valve clearances while you had the cover off? If so did you have to do any major adjustments? Also have you swapped out the oil pump to a TypeR/S pump?

What specific honda k series engine did the blue valve cover came from? It has a different honda motor co. Embose vs georges original one that says honda. Im just curious.

Usually, the ones that says Honda Motor Co., LTD are removed from Acura models. Not sure why they do that. My EP3 just said Honda, and my TSX, as well as every RSX I have seen has the longer name...

Just a question... would you "EVER" recommend running a flywheel without a pilot bearing or bushing? asking because i purchased a "Genuine Honda Type R retro fit clutch for my 2018 SI" and paid for it to,,,,,out my @$$. the reason I purchased it was because it started as a Genuine Honda part and with that i was hoping to get a stock like feel with increased holding force. Anyhow, it didn't come with a pilot bearing or bushing and the seller recommends not using one. I would just pick one up from Honda however its not that easy. IDs are different from DMF to SMF as well as trans input-shaft OD from Type R to SI. I feel that Honda's engineer's put one there for a reason, there for i should be using something in there. What is your take?

Hey there John and Goerge, nicely done! You said a few words about redoing the pulley assembly so I wanted to ask: what is you experience on the pulley bearings? I have tried everything - OEM Honda, aftermarket, separate bearings from SKF and so on but they just die in like 3 months. And rattle like crazy. The same story goes to the PCV valve - OEM or non OEM they start rattling almost at the same time as the bearing dies. Please give some thoughts on this one. By the way, the car is Typer R euro (FN2) with K20Z4 in it.
