hey guys, so i guess this video was posted somewhere outside of mugen community, since i see some people not really knowing what is this game you can search "mugen", its a free fighting game engine. with editing programs so people can create their own characters or recreate existing ones from 2d fighting games like street fighter 3, or mortal kombat 3, for example and put them all together and create their own fighting game i didnt bother to upload this one, since its pretty much just build from already available to download characters and stages list of the characters in the description, you can download them on your own and build a similar game for yourself also the stopping point was that this particular game uses a few private sprites, which were never uploaded publicly, so it would be pretty low to upload them without authors permission (the resources in question are select screen background, "x" platforms, and title screen logo) seeing interest for this game i will upload it, but before i would have to replace those resources mentioned above (i probably wont be able to get authors permission, since they seem to be long retired from the community) so just wait for the upload, i will try to do it somewhere in july, but a few other things need to be done before that: -replace special effects, like landing dust, etc, so all characters use the same ones -tweak AI, current one is ok, but ive gotten much more experienced and i can improve it significantly -finish mr.sinister update (that is one of the characters ive created with other creator (Dev) from the community, base is - urien/gill from sf3) in the meantime you can check spider-man mugen from my channel, it is available to download and we just got Kraven: www.mediafire.com/file/6l4vrr94kg93ykn/Spider-man_mugen.rar/file or check AvX mugen, which is a Avengers vs X-men mugen fighting game, really good one or Project X: Second Coming mugen, really good X-men mugen game ps. and if someone tries to sell you some finished mugen product, they are scamming you out of money, and most likely have no relation to the game they are selling they just downloaded it somewhere from the web. mugen was always free

All characters already exist. there is just pretty screenpack, colorful palettes, some classic stances restored, more balanced AI and damage, and unified special effects (mostly, not all yet). no new moves, no new animations for any characters, no new stages, so the same exact things that you can already get, just looks slightly prettier and more balanced and unified under 1 screenpack, just that. (unlike spidey game which has all this and a lot of new and improved stuff, characters, stages). But I will upload this one too, as promised, no worries

@@ToneysReviews well he doesn't have to be "killed". This isn't mortal kombat. He's just KOd. But I do sort of agree cause if the comic rules apply at all, Juggernaut is basically immune to everything while his helmet is on. Though, a game with some match-up cancels, like what OP was talking about, would be very cool. It instantly changes the game dramatically. Wolverine, juggernaut, Deadpool, Colassus could have additional HP, for example. No psychic moves should work on Magneto, or Jugg while the helmet is on. Like, make it fall off every 25%, with the option for the player to pick it up, at the risk of undefendable frames, of course. Psychic moves shouldn't work on Sentinels either, right? Probably not on Apokolips, either I don't think. Tbh don't know much about him. I'm just spitballing.

hey, they actually have damage of their blast attacks cut to 50% damage against each other, just like cyclops optic blasts do 200% damage to sinister. but 0 damage? i mean, AI would have to be coded not to try to use those attacks in those fights, but it is doable

most of the characters are just second coming characters with classic palettes and stances man. there is almost nothing new here, that is not already available for public, just in separate downloads. only new thing is the interface, like screenpack, hyper portraits, but its very minor, and contains private resources that i cannot share, sadly. so in short, you can pretty much build up your own mugen like this one, without much effort, just with different screenpack

Loved this video. Subscribed to the channel. The animations and sprite work is great and the backgrounds are amazing. It does look like it needs some balancing here and there but I would love to play the game. Professor X's air combo does way too much damage Wolverine being able to walk under Cyclops Super Storm just seems way too fast and evasive to have such high damage Just constructive criticism

thanks man well, unlike spiderman mugen, where i did try to balance everyone to be more or less on the same level, here i just tried to go more by xmen canon, which portrays some chars as clearly superior. like jubilee should not be able to defeat juggernaut 1v1 95% of the time, and some chars like magneto, cable, professor, storm and others are made somewhat overpowered. some characters special powers have buff or nerf, like cyclops blasts against sinister, havok and cyclops powers against each other, etc. so yeah, it not flawed balance, there is no competitive balance really, by design im planning to do some updates on this after finishing with spiderman mugen update, but i dont think this will ever be balanced or close to fair competitive game, sorry but in any case, current version is available to download in community tab post, you can check it now if you want

Storm's lightning storm move should be like Silver Samurai's Lightning Sword attack or stronger. That was weak. Her level 3 should be a hurricane storm or something. They really nerfed her here. It's sad that this Mugen is better than MVC Infinite lol. With the X-men and Avengers roster they should each have their own 3v3 fighting game. thanks man, but its not really a project, just a compilation. all characters are available online publicly, here they just have slight changes to damage balance, ai, palettes, and have the same hyperbg and hitsparks coded in and those name logos, with exception of just few, are made by Hecbator (same author who made Cerebro room stage, now he is retired). Only 1 i made is deathstrike one. But all those logos are also included in the MvC portrait pack download in the description, if you want them

true. i wish it blew up alittle later though, when the last spider-man update came out on 18/06. judging from downloads people just got outdated version and never come back for update. will be playing with bugs, unbalanced ai and such.. eh
