I felt the same! I smelled the EDP and it was too much but then saw the EDT and read that it was separate and more of a flanker than any watering down, but similar. I can't stop smelling the EDT. I think the solar notes picked it up for me.

Thank you so much for an honest review on that. I tried the perfum and it was almost nauseating and at the time I didn’t even know they made the EDT. I’m gonna give that one a try!

Thank you! I have smelled both in the store on seperate occasions. I believe first I smelled the EDT. the citrus notes surprised me but I wasn't too much of a fan. The next time I went in and saw it, i sprayed it on me this time. It smelled so much warmer and sweeter than I remembered which made me realise it must have been the EDP instead. The smell stayed on the sleeves of my jumper for several days and the warmth was addictive. I am going to buy the EDP to spray in my sleeve cuffs and scarves in winter because it feels so comforting and warm.

I just got a tester of this and wow! It makes me think "cool girl" like confident yet carefree. I don't get animalic at all, to my nose it smells creamy and bright. Jubilant. The waft reminds me of JPG Classique for some reason, even tho that doesn't say it has jasmine in it.

What’s the longevity with the edt like?

Alien EDP is my signature, but I find it “cold”, which I love (reminiscent of Crystal Noir, which I adore). But as the OG Alien EDP is increasingly hard to find, I think I’ll order the Alien EDT to layer with the EDP. I also have Eau Extraordinaire, Eau Sublime, Aura, and Essence Absolue ☺️.

Hey Sally! Another great more in depth review. I had tried Alien before. I think it’s an amazing perfume. Very original and creative in packaging and name. But I just couldn’t become friends with it. I had actually purchased it years ago. I wore it for a week and had to go and exchange it for something else. Your video did convince me to try it again at some point soon. If you like jasmine I would give J’adore original a try. Another jasmine creature you might love. :) 💖❄️❄️❄️I actually changed my opinion on J’adore very recently and love wearing it now. Maybe that’s the thing about certain perfumes that you have to give them some time before your final opinion. That’s so true! 👽☺️

Edt alien faints on my skin in 30 minutes so it is not worth the money. Edp alien lasts six hours and I prefer it.

I'm so glad that you shared your experience with the EDT vs EDP. I went to Sephora and had them spray Alien EDP for me and it was too much at first. Hours later I could smell the paper just sitting on my dresser and fell in love with the scent and dry down. I bought the travel size of the EDP and it still seemed a bit much. I'm going to get the EDT version and build up my tolerance to the deeper EDP :) thank you so much, I'm so happy to hear it worked out for someone else that way too!

I have both, I like the EDP much better, I have a bottle of an older formulation before the current one and a current one, the older is wayyyyy stronger, I also have the Alien Essence Absolue, I love then strong 😅
