I went in store (here in LA) at 9:45 am, no line just about 15-20 people in the store shopping the collection. I got the leggings and the matching corset. I also got the blue top you tried on and I am gonna tie it in the middle. The prices were good and its an h&m collab I used to work there and I love the collabs so I always try to get a few bits when I can get them in store. I did stand in line one time in 2015 when I lived in DC for the Balmain x HM collab. It was crazy but an experience.

I agree with you... the cut outs or paneling are played out & I think Mugler will probably move into a different direction as well. When they announced the collab, I had a feeling some items would be cheap. I ordered some pants from their premium collection and those are cheap so I was like this collab may give some of that too 😂 I didn't purchase anything from this collab but it's interesting to hear your take on it!

I bought everything online girl and most sizes sold out in less than 10mins!! I only found out about this collection about a week ago and have been obsessed with it since. I'm really worried I got the wrong sizes though as I haven't shopped from H&M in a while.

I really love the panel set but I do agree with it being too trendy. the pink skirt set would have ate if it was fitting good but sad the quality wasn’t top notch throughout the pieces. By the time I got through checkout I was able to walk away with the main outfit I wanted. I didn’t try to get any of the black pieces bc they have been duped 1000x over. I got an 18 in the bottoms an an XXL in the dress. I didn’t want to take any chance with the item not fitting and if it’s too big I can always get it tailored.

so designers/brands dupe their own designs to essentially open it up to a different market who have a lower/higher entry price point. similar to how MFK will create Baccarat dupes for other brands, so his signature will be accessed in a different market (at a different price) - but yes Mugler are for sure going in a diff direction (see flower collection on KJ etc)

Thank you so much for sharing and for keeping it real. Such a shame the pink suit wasn't up there in quality. I don't really understand why they hold back on giving proper info about the sizing to the public, even the influencers who are gifted the items beforehand never disclose anything about sizing or quality, so annoying, it would spare people the frustration and headache when in such a rushed shopping experience. No physical store experience here but I placed an online order after fighting my way through website crashing and app glitching and I still managed to order a couple of earrings and the brooch, the archive black velvet dress, the women's short black leather jacket and the green trench coat, basically everything on my wishlist,but I am very unsure about the sizing so fingers crossed they will fit because I plan on wearing the jackets to death 😅. I avoided the tight-fitting body suits and dresses because I also think they are too revealing so they'll make me feel uncomfortable, pluss I am way too short for them to fit as they are intended too. They are beautiful and you looked fantastic in the ones you tried on 🥰
