So a kotatsu is a traditional table in japan that you would sit on the floor at and eat meals or read or... it's basically for all the same things as a family dinner table.. with the added benefit of an attachable blanket skirt for cold weather time to keep you warm. SOME kotatsu are even heated, and I've been told are the HEIGHT of luxury (I'm not sure if my japanese friends said that with sarcasm or not tho lol).

Maru awake or sleepy is cute. The two ladies so close together was heartwarming but I read that Miri takes advantage being hidden, messes with Hana and is scolded by her under there in the dark. Occasional hissing being heard by other family members.
