good. you need to adjust the house to make it accessible for Maru who's getting older and it's harder for him to jump on things. you need to make things easy for him. good job!

So thoughtful of Mogu to put sturdier stairs there. But I think the stair steps should be shorter in height so Maru can get up and down them more easily. He's a senior cat now and the impact from jumping up/down is probably hard on his joints.

I see why the old cat tree needed constant repairs. It was strong enough for Miri to jump down onto, but Maru and Hana made the top platform bounce. It could not have taken much of that! The new stairs seem much more sturdy.

Maru is such a handsome boy. I have a feeling he will figure out a way how to open the drawer and cupboard soon if he is alone in the house. My fear is that after he gets inside he can't open it again and will suffocate. Those new beds look great but Maru must have liked the small one. He always squeezes himself into tight places. They seem to keep a hierarchy Hana on one side with Maru in the middle and Miri on the other side. Nice cliffhanger today who will do what next.

But Hana remains the most surefooted and confident. She always made Maru look like a fuddy duddy when you compared them climbing or descending ladders. And yet he used to be fearless -- age has made him more cautious -- remember him climbing a quite tall ladder outside years ago, and trying to climb the wall? He was curious, and intelligent: he scoped it out several times before deciding what to do. Miri is just agile.
