But I did hear Terrel say that he knew Ali before he changed his name and not out of disrespect he called him Clay and Ali got so mad and started popping off at him so he continued to call him Clay. I was around back in those days and people didn't stop calling him Cassius Clay over night. It took a while. Think about it. If Mike Tyson changed his name it would take a while for us to stop calling him Mike Tyson.

I watched it in slow motion, he slides his head to the side to dodge a couple punches, then straight back, then to the side again. Some punches are extended far enough to have done real damage if they'd connected. And then I realized that his hands are down by his waist the entire time. There was no defense other than to dodge the punches. Just before this clip, the innocuous left jab that he snuck in, between Terrel's gloves, I think it was primarily this punch that did all the damage and won Ali the fight.
