Ahmed Hoosen Deedat (Gujarati: અહમદ હુસેન દીદત July 1918 - 8 August 2005) was a South African writer and public speaker of Indian descent.[2][3] He was best known as a Muslim missionary, who held numerous inter-religious public debates with evangelical Christians, as well as video lectures on Islam, Christianity, and the Bible. Deedat established the IPCI, an international Islamic missionary organisation, and wrote several widely distributed booklets on Islam and Christianity. He was awarded the King Faisal International Prize in 1986 for his fifty years of missionary work. He wrote and lectured in English.[4]

Salawat. Ameen. Ameen. Ameen. I was reverted to Islam 20 years ago because of Sheikh Deedat and my best friend Ray. I can never in a million years repay either one of them. I’m sure it’s out of respect, but Muslim Indians and Pakistani keep saying Hazrat (حضرت) when they mention the names of prophets. You don’t need to exaggerate,it’s fine to say the names followed by "peace be upon them". عليهم السلام. Not even sure what the origin of Hazrat is, it’s not Arabic. Maybe Mughal or Ottoman.

I wonder about a few things, Was it the best way to deal with the messiah in the way it was done, I believe that many should have seen him ascend up and not die, because it makes it hard for the Christians to all of sudden believe that he didn't die when so many made up stories because no one really knew the truth,,,, it is truely Intresting and I know that God knows best and I know nothing, but it would have been helpful to the Jews to see they couldn't touch him and he left in front of there eyes telling them that they failed to follow the messiah,,

Bustamante, You seem to be giving out a blind sentence by insulting the late Sheikh Ahmed Deedat. The Sheikh bieng a preacher was a well read Man in both the Holy Qur'an and the Bible. All his arguments were based on these two holy books. He has in no way insulted any Religion be it Christianity,Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Hidusim, or Bhudism. The only thing that irked the likes of you is that, He used to quote verses from both the bible and the Qur'an in order to teach you the truth because most of you have been blinded by what you hear in the church but you have little or no knowledge of what the bible says. Jesus Christ has never in any place in the bible claimed divinity. Can you show us where Jesus Christ said that " I am God so worship me in the bible"? It is either you are a habitual liar or someone who is so short sighted and knows nothing about the religion he claims to belong to. Mr Deedad was known to hate Christianity, he did not hesitate to ridicule and make fun of the Christian guest. Mr. Deedad had very few arguments, he was rather good at destabilizing his opponents with dishonest remarks and questions. Also MrDeedad died in a horrible way, paralyzed from head to toe for 9 years bedridden because he insulted the Holy Spirit during a conference he was giving. We don't make fun of God.
