حقیقت تو یہ ھے کہ خان صاحب کے بعد بہت سارے نامی گرامی فنکاروں نے اس غزل کو گانے کی جسارت کی ھے مگر ایک جگہ ایسی ھے جہاں آج تک کوئی پہنچ نہیں پایا- لیکن مُحمد زبیر وہ واحد فنکار ھے جس نے وہ جگہ کہی ھے بلکل ویسے تو نہ کہہ پائے مگر بہت حد تک وہاں پہنچے ھیں جسکو کسی بھی بڑے سنگر نے کہنے کی کوشش بھی نہ کی- سب سے پہلی بار کہے "کروں" لفظ کو غور سے سُنیں

The great Mehdi Hassan Saab was a ghazal singer par excellence and was in a class all by himself ! As a matter of fact, the great Khan Saab was the synonym of soft, soothing and soulful music! His style of gayiki was pretty simple, soft, refined, effortless, soothing and soulful yet overbearing and difficult to emulate ! To be very true, the great Khan Saab had rendered this ghazal with his heart out by raising its level giving it an epic proportion ! In this backdrop, the effort made by Jubair Saab look very amateurish ! It certainly needs more finesse and perfection for which Junior Saab is required to undergo more rigorous 'REWAZ' (training schedule), of which the likes of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab was very much capable of ! Not to take anything away from this feat, but this ghazal requires a softer approach in my opinion. For the competition it's ok to show your vocal skills, but if you are to take ghazal singing, I would advise you to focus on the meaning of the ghazal and instill feeling in your song accordingly
