Almighty Allah Ta'ala says in the Noble Qur'an: "Oh Wives of the Prophet. Do not soften your voices that may attract a person who has a sickness in his heart." (Al-Ahzab) Females by nature have a soft and alluring voice that attract the attention of males which may be a stepping stone to many evils. Therefore, strange (Ghayr Mahram) males and females should not verbally communicate with a strange male unless it is done without softening her voice. The Hamd and Naat recited by females in an artistic manner, will obviously attract the attention of strange males, therefore, it is not permissible for them to listen to the Hamd and Naat of strange females. And Allah Taala Knows Best. ,
