In this lecture, Brother Muhammad Sheikh provided profound insights using Quranic verses on a topic I had heard since childhood, that Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham, PBUH) broke physical idols made of clay with Axe. While these stories are not mentioned in the Quran but are found in the Barnabas Bible, this lecture helped me understand that the idols referred to are not physical statues but exist within human psychology. The way Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) used the wisdom granted by Allah (through His verses) to logically challenge and break the idols in human psychology, guiding people back to the One True God, serves as an inspiring example and a profound lesson for all of us! These idols represent emotions and desires that we prioritize over Allah's commands. Instead of seeking help from Allah, we often become enslaved to our emotions, unknowingly committing shirk (polytheism). By Allah’s mercy and guidance, I have worked to break the psychological idols within myself by reciting these verses in prayer, strive to live by them, and continue my journey of self-correction. I am deeply grateful to Allah and Brother Muhammad Sheikh for helping me understand and act upon Allah's guidance. May Allah grant me and all of us the ability to follow His commands.

Assalamu alaikum. In this lecture, Brother Muhammad Sheikh explained a very important topic using Quranic verses, which I had been hearing since childhood - that Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) had broken idols. But after listening to this lecture, I understood that these idols are not physical but are present in human psychology. These idols refer to the emotions that gain more importance in our lives than Allah's commands. Instead of seeking help from Allah, we become slaves to our desires and emotions, committing shirk (polytheism) against Allah. I personally broke the idols present in my own psyche with Allah's mercy and help, remembering the Quranic verses, seeking guidance from Brother Muhammad Sheikh's lectures, having faith, and reforming myself. I understood the verses, recited them in prayer, and continue to strive. I am grateful to Allah and Brother Muhammad Sheikh. May Allah grant me the ability to act according to His commands. ربنا آمنا صدقنا وسمعنا و اطعنا الحمداللہ رب العالمین میں دل۔کی گہرائیوں سے ایمان لائ مانا سر تسلیم خم کیا اور عمل صالح کئے۔ اللکہ۔اذن سے اتنی ھائ لیول پر ان بتوں کی وضاحت کی ۔۔نہ انکار کی گنجائش نہ انکار اور نہ کوی سوال۔ اس وضاحت سے پہلے میں سخت گمراھئ میں ملوث تھی انھی بتوں کی وجہ سے۔۔الحمداللہ نے مرنے سے پہلے اپنی اور ان بتوں کی پہچان کروانے دی وتوفنا مع الا ابرار آمین یا رب العالمین۔۔۔ اور ہم وہ (رنجش و) کینہ جو ان کے سینوں میں (دنیا کے اندر ایک دوسرے کے لئے) تھا نکال (کے دور کر) دیں گے ان کے (محلوں کے) نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی، اور وہ کہیں گے: سب تعریفیں اﷲ ہی کے لئے ہیں جس نے ہمیں یہاں تک پہنچا دیا، اور ہم (اس مقام تک کبھی) راہ نہ پا سکتے تھے اگر اﷲ ہمیں ہدایت نہ فرماتا، بیشک ہمارے رب کے رسول حق (کا پیغام) لائے تھے، اور (اس دن) ندا دی جائے گی کہ تم لوگ اس جنت کے وارث بنا دیئے گئے ہو ان (نیک) اعمال کے باعث جو تم انجام دیتے تھے وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِىۡ صُدُوۡرِهِمۡ مِّنۡ غِلٍّ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهِمُ الۡاَنۡهٰرُ‌ۚ وَقَالُوۡا الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِىۡ هَدٰٮنَا لِهٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهۡتَدِىَ لَوۡلَاۤ اَنۡ هَدٰٮنَا اللّٰهُ‌ ‌ۚ لَقَدۡ جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالۡحَـقِّ‌ؕ وَنُوۡدُوۡۤا اَنۡ تِلۡكُمُ الۡجَـنَّةُ اُوۡرِثۡتُمُوۡهَا بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏ الْأَعْرَاف 7:43

لوگ جن کو اللہ کی کتاب قرآن اور اس کے محکم آیات پر عمل کرنے کی دانائی (الحکمۃ) دی گئی ہے مُقرّر محمد شیخ اس کی سب سے سے بہترین مثال ہے جو ہمارے زمانے میں، پوری دُنیا میں، اس عظیم مملکت کے حامل ہیں اور موجودہ وقت میں، ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے اوّلین پیروکار ہیں جن سے بے شمار لوگ حسد میں مبتلا ہیں لیکن اللہ نے، ہروقت، حاسدوں کے شر سے، ان کو پناہ میں رکھا ہے. وہ زندہ ہیں اور مسلسل 30 سے زیادہ سالوں سے اللہ کی کتاب قرآن مجید کی واضح آیات سے سینکڑوں گھنٹوں کی دسیوں موضوعات پردانشمندی سے لیکچرز دے چکے ہیں لیکن کوئی ایک، آج تک، اسی طرح، نہ کر سکا، اور نہ ان کے سامنے آ کر اس موضوع پر رد یا تضاد دکھا سکا. گونگے بہرے اور اندھے بن کر حسد میں غِیبت، کردارکشی اور تکبُّرانہ لاتعلقی کے سوا کچھ نہیں کر پائے.

ایمان لانے والوں کے لیے اللہ کی طرف سے حق آ گیا۔ ابراہیم علیہ السلام ہر زمانے کے زندہ لوگوں سے روحانی طور مخاطب ہو کر لوگوں کے بنائے ہوئے نفسیاتی بت(غیر اللہ کی کتابوں کے بت۔فرقوں کے بت۔محبت۔تمنائیں بڑے لوگ وغیرہ وغیرہ ان تمام نفسیاتی بتوں کو آج بھی توڑ رہے ہے۔اور اللہ کی آیات پر ایمان لانے والوں کو خالص اللہ کی طرف رجوع کروا رہے ہے۔جو ایمان نہیں لا رہے وہ دوبارہ انہی ہی بتوں کی طرف رجوع ہو رہے ہیں۔ جو یہ بشر ان آیات کی وضاحت اللہ کی مدد سے کر رہے ہیں ان کے علاوہ آج کے زندہ لوگوں میں کسی کے پاس ان آیات کی وضاحت نہیں ہے۔اللہ نے غائب سے ان کو یہ ساری معلومات عطا کی ہے۔اس میں کوئی شک نہیں ہے

وضاحت ہوئی کہ جب تک ہم قرآن نہیں پڑھتے یا ہمیں اس کی سمجھ نہیں ہے تو خدا ہم سے بات نہیں کرتا اس لیے اس وقت تک وہ ہمارا بت ہے۔ہماری نفسیات میں جو جذبات ہیں جب وہ عقل کے اوپر حاوی ہو جاتے ہیں تو جھوٹے خداؤں کی شکل اختیار کر لیتے ہیں اور اس وقت سامنے آ جاتے ہیں ابرھیم علیہ السلام نے جس طرح لوگوں کے بت توڑے ہمیں بھی قرآن کی آیات کے ذریعے اس طرح اپنے اور دوسروں کے بتوں کو توڑنا ہے جب بھی آپ ایسا عمل کرے گے لوگوں کا ری ایکشن دیکھنے کو ملے گا۔

When we let emotions like love, longing, desire, or honour overpower us and ignore the guidance of governing Ayats, these emotions become our gods or idols, leading to idolatry. Ibrahim (PBUH), with Allah’s help, broke these self carved psychological idols through ayats, And not the physical idols as mentioned in bible. I submit to this clear understanding for guidance.

Ibrahim Pbuh break The idols that are in our Psyche. He broke the idols in our psyche by except the Allah when we communicate with him through Quranic verses, otherwise Allah will remain Idols. It's important to understand, How idols were broken by Ibrahim PBUH as they are carved & exist in the Psyche of Mankind, due to that physical carving comes on the ground. Ibrahim PBUH spoke to people while they were not worked up with emotions & they were under the impression that he was talking about false gods when he was talking to them all the time as idols existed within them & were not able to speak logically. This was indirect speech or Dodge over them & while striking with the Right broke the idols except for the Big one so they turned to Him. This Big one is Allah as they are not in communication with Him. Rather than establishing communication with Allah, they started talking about Ibrahim PBUH that there is a young man who has done it to their Idols, asking him have you done it, to which Ibrahim PBUH replied that it has been done by the Big One (Allah), ask them if they (people) who's idols been broken, if they can speak logically? This is how, artfully Ibrahim PBUH broke the Idols while they were turned their backs (not emotionally worked up). Reaction when false gods are made in One God which is an amazing thing is that, the Chiefs separated, saying 'Walk away, remain patient over your gods & we have never heard of this. This is a thing intended.' The concept of physical breaking of Idols comes from the Gospel of Barnabas. I believe that Idols exist in the Psyche of Mankind including me, communication needs to be established with The Big One(Allah), so we turn to Him & Allah may be identified & followed in the true sense.
