In fact, you are right, Muichiro is related to the creator of the first breath, Yoriichi. :) He is a prodigy Hashira who, before recovering his memory, hid a lot about himself. But now that he remembers everything, and with the mark he becomes very dangerous, Gyokko should be scared haha.

Muichiro is a prodigy and the most talented among the Hashira, as well as even the main cast. He has the most potential. That's why he so strong for his age. Also, as you saw the "mark" appear on his face, he was so fast and got an insane powerup, kind of like when Tanjiro got his mark against Gyutaro, he was able to cut through his neck to defeat him. Goes to show how overpowered this "tattoo" is when a Demon Slayer activates it.

Did any of you guys notice that Muichiro’s eyes changed once he regained his memories? They animated him w/ no light in his eyes before and then added light after. I thought that that was a cool thing that they did in this episode to represent the “mist” being lifted from his brain!

I'm not a manga reader so don't quote me on this, but I also have theory on rengoku's mother is also from the same bloodline as the sun breather as her eyes has the same red tint as tanjiro and muichiro's father has. btw love the reaction newly sub looking forward for more anime's along the line
