Stayed here as a child in early 90s. Went to silverknowes primary which is no longer there. Moved to Crewe Road Gardens in mid 90s and was like winning the lottery in comparison, which funnily enough some family members actually did win in 1998.

John McGhee No small city in Australia does. Canberra is about the same population as Edinburgh and has practically zero deprived areas. Sydney you have to go way out west to find anything remotely poor. Even the poorest areas are well better off than Edinburgh poor. Very sad city
