Both are equally good songs in their own way. Kishore Kumar sang the sad version and his son Amit Kumar the romantic sad version. Both of them gave soul to their versions in their own way. We are so blessed to have these kind of singers in our country. Kishore Kumar passed away way back in 1987 but his songs are so overwhelming and relatable even now also!! My personal opinion about his songs are that he was a class apart in rendering sad songs. Woh ushmee jaann deh deteh thee. Remember "Kishkaa raastaa dekhee....." He once told his wife Leenaji and his son Amitjii that he would die only once and after that he would become immortal in his songs, people would never be able to forget him. He was so confident about himself and rightly so!! Actually the story goes like this that one fine day Leenaji told him that after his death no one would remember him. On hearing this he told his wife to call Amitji to his room and after he came to his room he shared his thoughts about his songs and himself infront of his wife and elder son!! Whenever I feel sad, dejected, depressed I hear his songs. They just rejuvenate me!! RIP Kishore Kumarjii.......

All the singers who copy Kishore Kumar may feel they are close. BUT BUT BUT, its their illusion. Kishoreda is absolutely unique and can never be copied. At the most one can try to copy his vocal timbre. But what about the expression? What about the emotional science? No one even understands the emotional rationale for each of this song! They all simply copy his vocal texture and think that they sing like him. NOTT A CHANCE! And this is one key reason I love Amit Kumar. No matter how close his voice sounds like his father, he puts his focus on the expression and singing quality!

Both r best only difference is kishore sang this song at his age of 45 but Amit sang at his 26...it means...Amit did not achieve his best Tonal quality which he has achived from his 30 ...onwards..I think this comparison would be better if Amit had sung this.song between 1985-1990... Amit had very sweet voice in his childhood but very shrill at high speech..which has modulated in his mid age...and now at 70 Amit is still best...Kishore is God and his son must be a God. Our great mistake is that to compare both in every time which is very wrong. Both.of them are diffrent. Amit is.more.rocking whereas kishorr is.more shocking..💖💖💖🙂
