Koreans love when people react positively/energetically to food. It's pretty common on TV shows. Has nothing to do with shaming women, just a part of Korean culture. "Eating well" is viewed positively - women who just pick at their food are not viewed that well

In korea, people praise you for eating well, no matter what your job is. The more, the better. They actually think of people who can't eat a lot as "weak". But the irony is that people there seem to want you to eat well but not gain weight for it. So they hate it if you're fat, not if you eat well.
