You can't put a price on a happy marriage. It impacts all areas of your life! So, it is a must to get away and just spend quality time with your significant other. When couples care for each other, children are happier and society is better off. So a great way to impact the world is by getting away and being present with your partner. Hi there. Thank you for choosing Nicaragua to spend a well-deserved vacation I'm sure. I must tell you though that as wonderful Mukul Resort and its staff were to you, you did miss half the experience. Mukul its the perfect place to be pampered and relaxed to the max I agree, but there's the other side of the country that you need to experience. The vibrant, pulsating rhythm of its people out in the streets. The genuine smile from an old lady selling her fares for pennies or the wonder in the eyes of the children that can't help themselves and burst into laughter from only hearing you say hello or wave goodbye. The smells, the colors, the intense heat, the chaos that is Managua, the stately quietness of Granada, the hidden history of Leon, the beaches around the Golfo de Fonseca, the many lagoons and climbing up a volcano or what it used to be a volcano but is now a lagoon with a terrific view that you can see Honduras and El Salvador from the top of Cosiguina. I'm only describing a part of the Pacific side. Nicaragua, with its natural beauty and its dramatic history, is an exciting place to visit. Presently as I'm writing the country is going through some difficult but necessary events, hopefully, we'll manage to solve our differences as quickly and painless as possible and when we do please don't be afraid to come visit and then experience all of Nicaragua. We"ll be waiting for all of you. Saludos from my little but beautiful Nicaragua.

I would like to be treated in Texas by European-descent native Texans as these Texans were treated by Nicaraguans. Nicaraguans are not racists and welcome everybody. Texas is worldwide famous for her racist white population.

Ralph Smith you can’t generalized that every Nicaraguan will treat you fairly , specially in Managua . Dollars play a big role on how you are treated ,specially in resorts worldwide . Many US citizens view these vacations, as the perfect get away , it is what many expect . Our family in the contrary chose a different kind of get away , away from technology, and the city stress , something more adventurous. We purchased a farm in Matagalpa , about 3 hrs from Managua , and we found it such a quiet , remote place , away from the city . A 100 meters from our humble house , howling monkeys , as well as a variety of wild life visit our property on a daily basis , this is where we chose to be as a get away , and retirement . We got tired of the so called “ American “ kind of vacation , it’s like ordering Chinese food in the USA , and when you go to China it’s totally different , get my drift ??. Anyway , being here in Nicaragua , we have discovered many unhappy Nicaraguans , some think they are doing a favor to tourists , and investors like us to provide us a paid service . Like I say , you go to any resort around the globe , flash money , and 95% of the time ,you will be treated like royalty . If you do come visit Nicaragua , visit Granada , Leon , esquipulas , ride the cheap transportation , mingle with real Nicaraguans , not the fake ones , who dance at the beat of money . Don't go. I have been going to Nicaragua since the mid 90s. I bought a shipload of rice to Corrinto, Nicaragua. I am a retired Merchant Seaman and live in both Costa Rica and Nicaragua. We have enough Gringos down here, don't need anymore to screw things up.
