Thank you so much for posting this excellent video. I learned a few things about mulch and now I understand better the reasons for using a coarser, chunkier mulch vs. a fine mulch.

Very interesting video. I'm rather new to gardening, and I was always under the assumption that mulch was used to keep the plants cooler, and help hold moisture in the ground in hot areas. Learned something new, mulch is weed control.
