I kinda wonder about the hose thing as well, it seems like everyone just lets them dangle, I was trying to figure out if there was a mobility issue that kept people from securing them better.

maybe if it was a fresh leak, i bet this pond has been low for a while now and any water that leaked out is most likely gone and dried out by now. That makes it hard to find without digging into the dam i think.

I swear Chris, I would send that mulch head down the road before I knocked another paint chip off it. Absolutely nothing derogatory toward you, I think it pretty well goes without saying that you're about as slick of a operator as they come. It just seems to me it does nothing great or fast. I've got the exact host machine with a 42" brush cutter that I wished you could have done that job with. It'll wack off a 3" locust no problem and I've chewed down 6" hardwood too. It cuts grass like a belly mower if you give the blades a lick with the cordless grinder and a flap disc before you start and yes it tills the dirt to get the stumps and it's waaaay quicker than the mulch head. Just try'in to get you home quicker so we can start your new pond! The job turned out great, as usual.👍🏼
