I'm curious whether dedicated ones are much better than ones with the kit on or like your honda where you can adjust it if I've got that right. Yea Carl has the Stihl I think, best ask him how it's going. I've always just boxed and removed grass or binned but a lot of mine would be fine mulching 👍 cheers for stopping by

Dedicated mulchers are far superior. I use the Husqvarna which for me beats them all except AS motor they are just the beasts of mulching mowers. Used a lot of brands when I worked for the council
@TKG5 ай бұрын
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd Not a fan of mulching, mainly because my lawns tend to be long and wet, it would be interesting to try a dedicated mulcher, its what they are designed for, I think mulching with a standard mower with mulch kit, would need a couple of passes to chop the grass up fine enough to not see it. but as I say a lot of my lawns that would benefit from it the grass is too long.

If it’s a dedicated mulcher, the husky LB553 is ina league of its own. The finish is faultless, its pace is quick and the front wheel drive makes it very quick and easy to pivot and turn it on the back wheels (although I always find a better result by going around in a circuit rather than long runs and turns). If it’s a multifunction mower, the Honda hrx 537 gives a decent mulch for what it is and the changeover from collect to mulch is so easy with the lever instead of separate mulch plug. One question if I could ask you if I may…..with the Honda pro mulch blade fitted, does the Honda pro collect well or is it a non starter?
@LewisgardenservicesLtd3 ай бұрын
