Her ex say he love her but he never regretted having an affair with the mistress, never once, he come with excuses that she's only a plaything, a slave, a savior, a substitute but he never regretted it truly, usually in this kind of drama the husband regret quickly, FL was right, deep inside he has feelings for the mistress, after all they sleep together for years but like SFL said, he was ashamed of her background and never saw her as equal he could marry so he made her his bed toy, I don't think he truly loved any of them. At least FL has a happy ending with somebody better.

This is my 2nd Xianxia version of the "disappear" plot. I like them both, but I like the ending in this version better. I don’t usually like death as a form of atonement, but in this case, ML's death wasn’t for atonement, but retribution for his betrayal with SFL. They got to die together, which is fitting. They're already in the underworld, so I don't know where else they would go. Good ending for FL & 2ML.

This drama worth all my time ❤! The villain was a scumbag full of lies and excuses since beginning till end. He put all the blame in the mistress, which led to a love/hate relationship in the end. Our fl had love brain for her ex so she didn't see the red flags but thanks to the fire it woke her up. Not only did it reveal his cheating but all his lies. She had assumed he had sacrificed as much as she did but that was all lies. Their relationship was very one sided. The final straw was the moment she learned that his side chick had her half heart stone and could literally hurt fl. What's worse is the ex didn't even know it was missing. He is just full of excuses. As she was trying to reincarnate her final wish was to see an old friend and a miracle happened thanks to that old friend and she was given another chance to see him. Plus it turns out the one willing to sacrifice everything even his own life turned out to be her old friend. Once he learned the truth he did everything in his power to protect her but turns out it wasn't needed. She was capable of setting herself free but it's nice to know there is someone else in this world willing to go that far for you. Her ex and his side chick got what they deserved turned out he may of wanted to let the storyteller finish telling their story. 😂. Fl also got her happy ending. She found the one who is willing to go as far as her when it comes to relationships. Loved her childhood friend.

That was quite a refreshing variation of this story, there have been several of these dramas but this time I did not use the FFW button,well done to the director and his team , perhaps made on a shoe string budget the special effects were really well done. I loved the FL…and though you might hate him the deluded ML gave a particularly good performance .

I've seen another version of this underworld lord drama. It didn't end well for that cheating lord either. He ended up giving up his lifeforce for his dying reincarnated FL and that collapsed his realm as well. His realm was tied to his lifeforce so everyone there suffered for his cheating.
