some great information there , we stopped at ardwell wed night /thursday morning , i actually drove past the marine store on my way to Stranraerto get some bait and tackle doh , anyway i had 2 doggies , a bull huss {personal best ] and a couple of mackerel on the first late tide and the following morning tide 2 more doggies and a mackerel nearly every drop of the lure , and good size ones .

Could you recommend any Rock marks for Tope around the Mull. Was thinking of trying round from the lighthouse on the Luce bay side of the Mull.

Yes there’s a few shore marks for tope, many fish north of the lighthouse on the eastern side of the peninsula….. Join the South West Scotland Sea Anglers Facebook page, plenty of experienced anglers could also offer advice 👍🏻🎣

Is March to early for the Tope coming in? Was just thinking of the cool weather at the minute. If no Tope is there a chance of Huss and Conger this time of year? Coming up in a couple of weeks.

@@mawky1 yes, it is a bit early for tope….. normally the first week of may is when they appear. There’s a chance of the odd conger and possible Huss

Thanks mate. Oh well I'll still give it a try - I won't catch anything sat on the Sofa 😄. Been watching more of your videos this morning - nice Tope you had that won you a good prize back in 2018. Hopefully there'll be a Rogue Tope lurking around where I'm fishing.
