So I needed to get my engine built, so I went to my engine builder. Well, after that I needed a tune, so I went to my tuner. We still had more fab work to finish off, so we took the car to the fabricator. Then, we met Kevin. This is a fictitious story, but why Kevin really is a rare gem. The way his builds leave the beams also says he understands the physics involved - this is another sector of smarts.

Cleetus said up front that a 2000hp car needed a level of obsessive attention to detail and perfectionism that McFarlandFab's full send working style would struggle with; but was how Keven did everything as a matter of course. Stuff related to the track's also eating a big chunk of his time now too, leaving less time for everything else; and I'd rather see him at the track than the garage for a month or so.

I totally thought that pop might have been an electrical short as well. LOL REALLY glad it wasn't (obviously, haha) There aren't too many everyday things that can be as distracting (if we're being honest, extremely unsettling) than having to worry about if there's an electrical short somewhere that you can't locate or have to worry about, lol I am really glad that this channel is gaining some traction because you do you like it very intelligent and cool dude! There is a lot I have learned/relearned from this channel. The way you put it together, it doesn't give away secrets of what you're doing that makes your business so successful but at the same time share lots of really good information and really good quality content! It makes me wish places like Keith Black, Sassy Racing engines, Banter Machine, etc. and places like that would be able to make a KZbin channel (or had a KZbin channel or similar back in the day) I guess Sassy Racing engines could. Anyway, love the channel man 🤘🏻

I absolutely love watching your content. I for one hope it's not just me who appreciates the free knowledge and little tips that some channels don't share or show while building things. I may have already known about checking installed valve spring height, but for those who don't, that knowledge should be hugely valuable to them. It's been evident since the first time I saw your work on Cleetus' channel that you are excellent at what you do and meticulous, and that holds true with every video you upload. Your level of craftsmanship and meticulousness, as well as the bit of nerdiness I've seen is super appreciated. I'm certain I could spend hours talking and bouncing ideas back and forth with you, you're my kind of people. Keep up the great work, and the content. I know I'll be around to watch it for sure. I may have missed it but what fuel(s) is mullet going to run on? Not that I even the slightest witchness of what about fuel choices but me, myself, and I am hoping that the "track fuel" is M1 or M5 and whatever for the highway. I definitely agree about mounting the highway fuel cell in the bed that way it can be placed somewhere more useful like maybe just before or over the rear axle.. A long time ago in what seems like a galaxy far far away I had a 77 ElCo that I put a 454 in with a M-21 and 12 bolt anyway I relocated the batteries to compartments just in front of the rear wheel wells which took weight off the nose and placed it somewhere more useful additionally I had installed a duel output alternator so each battery charged independently. I had just ordered a fuel cell to mount it over the rear axle only to have a drunk in a old clapped out hearse run a red light and t-boned me totaling the my ElCo and dam near totaling me. O'well please excuse my rambling, StaySafe, StayHealthy and have a great day.

So with the height measurements you did on the valve, is that essentially setting the correct pre load for the valve springs?

Dude I love your attention to detail. You're a lot like me. My dad taught me from an early age the term good enough doesn't exist. Either its right or its not done yet. Keep up the hard work.

Won't the rectangle port heads make more power than the cathedrals? They have larger intake valves on the stock castings.
@KSRPerformanceFabrication
@KSRPerformanceFabrication 4 жыл бұрын
My opinion is that static port flow is not as important as the chamber shape and spark plug location. With boost, the air is going to get in there when the valve opens, making the port less important. The catherdral heads are 247cc intake runner so they will move plenty of air.

Kevin, this is exceptional content. I love a lot of the car community channels for their entertainment value; however, I love watching your stuff because you get into the weeds more than anyone else. Please keep this up! It's entertaining and educational. Great stuff!

ur soda was in a supercooled state. Being in the freezer, it was at a temperature below its freezing point however it remained as a liquid as the can was too smooth to allow ice crystals to start to form (in technical terms, the phase transition requires a nucleation site). When you removed it from the freezer, you gave it the disturbance necessary to catalyse the transition from supercooled liquid into a block of ice.

Ganglion cyst , can be removed very easily. I've had 2 , one on my shoulder upper neck area and on top of my foot. They start out small then grow to golf golfball size very quick . Not a big deal just looks and can be a little irritating at times.
