Authority has a replacement effect and a triggered ability. Hauntwoods is checked as it enters and its conditions are met so it comes in tapped, however it doesn't exist on the battlefield as a creature (if its cast with impend) so it will not trigger authority. Their extra life gained was from a dual tapped land they played at 21:41

Skrelv's toxic does stack on to other toxic creatures. That's why he's such a powerful combo with the double strike toxic 1/1. It becomes 4 unblockable toxic essentially and it's a bad time.

Yes. Skrelv says "GIVES Toxic 1" so it "adds" it to the card. Technically, every creature has "Toxic 0". So, if a creature has Toxic 1 then it'll have Toxic 2 after Skrelv buff.

I wonder how your Beseech the mirror toolbox deck would do adapted for Bo3. I would be down to watch you to take the decks you’ve had the most success with in Bo1 and in one or two videos, learn how to tailor them to Bo3. I think it would be a good learning experience for all of us and a lot more fun for you (hopefully 😅)
