I don't look for pity but I thought I t would be good to share my story cause I use your videos to keep pushing me all the time man i noticed that your friends and families are always the first to tell you, you can't do it. I woke up one morning when I was younger and told myself I wanna be UFC champion of the world now people don't believe in me they think I'm bluffing but last year I lost my last wrestling match close lost I got upset by a kid who wasn't even on my level I was devasted I was in infront of a huge crowd my coaches didn't see me for months but you know what I was doing I I got back up i was out of the game for like 2 weeks then my hunger,drive,and why got me up I've been grinding ever since my coaches told me they thought I was done I. Wouldn't come back I just told them don't ever say that I said I might lose but I'll keep coming back again and again I don't know why this lost hurt me so bad but something in me just got so sick of losing I just couldn't take it anymore

Dismissed and spoken to with disgust because my opinions were different, ironically in an environment that preached diversity was its greatest strength. so i started mma, im a guy who knows alot, i came in last month , but had done BJJ before etc etc. i take em down. i win. i get a match and someone starts talking when im gone. telling me i dont have a sparring session, telling me i cant go into the UFC, Telling me i cant do shit. i looked at him and smiled, you know why? He trains for 4 years, never had an match. and me? i come in a month and have a match in april. so that guy just keeps talking about me and bragging about me, i am here because i want to achieve my goal. this is what i want, what i do. Makes so much sense. I had to let many of my friends and family go. Small town i grew up in fell apart, jobs are hard to find, drugs and gambling took over. What was a booming town only a generation earlier, today is an absolute shit hole, now its just a magnet for darkness. We've never had any truly "successful" people in our family, and the overall philosophy that dominates the lives of my friends and family is sad and pathetic. I've overcome depression, suicide, friends and family that never truly give a fuck about anything their whole lives, trying to tell me that my position of illness and frustration was a normal one that i just have to accept, and to just ignore the problems, and sell myself short. Maybe they couldn't see it, but i could not take this level of acceptance of failure, and i had no one to show me the way out. After the wallowing in self pitty and falling to the deepest darkest places, i found i have nothing to loose. What changed was my overall outlook, and fundamental principles and philosophies. At the bottom, I was free to examine what gave me success, happiness, health and well being. I was as honest as i could be with myself for the first time ever. Good bad and the ugly, need to be realized, In itself is a long hard journey. For the fist time I saw my past failures, as not failures, but lessons. Once I hit bottom, I took a good look around, now It was lonely, and dark, but I no longer have anything to loose... The next step is which direction to travel. Move towards my dreams and live the life i know i want and deserve? or be like my friends and family, and just accept a long life of frustration and always asking myself all the "what if's." The choice was easy, but the journey was hard, and at this point Im glad that it was. Im a better person because of my experiences. Good bad and the ugly. Now im in total beast mode, and am showing my nephews and nieces how to do it without falling into the darkness.
